ULLBOREAS - The protectors collection
"Ullboreas" is second in "The Protectors Collection" and an original OOAK hand sculpted 13-1/4" dragon. He is sculpted from ProSculpt Professional Polymer Clay and has been hand painted with a special blend of Genesis Heat Set Oils. His piercing eyes are red-orange glass cat's eye beads that appear fierce and furious. The 10" X 8" base is constructed of mahogany stained and sealed white pine with an original hand sculpted rock formation created from a special blend of polymer clays and hand painted. The name of the piece is derived from Ull, a Norse name meaning "glory" and one of the mythical gods whose responsibility was winter, and Boreas, a Greek name meaning “north wind” or "devouring one" and the mythical god of the cold north wind known to be the bringer of winter.
